Speedy (Gonzales) is an African House Snake. We believe he's probably a Red phase from Botswana, due to his deep purplish-red color. He was purchased at the reptile show in San Diego on 7/13/02. The reason for his name is rather predictable - he's VERY fast. When you open his cage, you'd better be quick!
